Inspired Style: Presidential Inauguration

Today has been a very historical day. President Barack Obama was sworn in for a second term as our President of the United States. If you tuned in to watch the day full of events for the Presidential Inauguration, you got a chance to see the President along with his family Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia.

A big topic of discussion was the fashion, in particular the First Lady's fashion. Michelle has become quite the fashion icon over the years, and we love how her style has evolved. Today she looked amazing from head to toe, we even love the bangs! She wore a custom designed coat and dress by menswear designer Thom Browne accessorized with a J. Crew belt, J. Crew gloves and Reed Krakoff boots.

Let's not forget the rest of the family though!

I love the whole color scheme that they went for as a whole family. They all complemented each other nicely with the different shades of purple and navy. Very classic and chic! Sasha and Malia complemented Michelle's purple gloves with purple coats and Barack tied it all together with a light blue tie.

Here's a look at them enjoying the parade (and the First Lady having extra fun with the marching band from Hawaii lol)

We also can't forget some of the much talked about celebs at the Presidential Inauguration. Jay-Z and Beyonce made an appearance and Beyonce performed the National Anthem. They were spotted arriving - Beyonce in a fur coat with a black Emillio Pucci long sleeve beaded and velvet gown and Jay-Z in a dapper suit and scarf. Very fab - I also loved the little details, like the emerald green Lorraine Schwartz earrings and ring.

We'll be tuned in tonight to see what she wears at the Inaugural Balls! Share your favorite moments!
