Happy November Folks! The weather is slowly getting colder and the Holidays are around the corner. Check out our Whit Picks and some items we've been eyeing… maybe for our Christmas list.

Whit W:

This month has been crazy for me! I just moved into my first place (which I love) and I am still in the process of getting everything in its place and decorated (the fun part - check out a bit of my home decor choices above). Like I mentioned before, my main focus has been making sure I have everything I need for my apartment, so I haven't been doing much clothing shopping lately. Last month, I did find a few affordable dressy items for going out from Forever 21. I had been looking for the perfect peplum skirt for the longest, and was actually able to find this nice basic Pleated Peplum Skirt at a great price.

Loving the peplum trend, I also found a black lace peplum top (below is a similar one):

Over the past month, I haven't done a lot of shopping. With the Holidays around the corner, I've been focused on saving money for Christmas gifts. I did grab a couple of cute items from Kohl's thanks to my grandma! I got a printed button up top with a lace pale pink bustier style top to go underneath. I also got a coral top with gold buttons and a open back. Each piece was under $30.

Whit W:

My most wanted items for the month are honestly finding some curtains for my living and dining rooms, but I do have my eye on this Open-Front Long-Sleeve Two-Tone Jacket from one of my favorite brands, Bar III:

I love the faux leather panel, and I think this could be incorporated into a bunch of looks. The Macy's site lists it on sale for $44.99, so I may have to grab that soon!

An item I've been eyeing - the quilted riding boots from American Eagle. Riding boots to me can be casual yet cute and everyone know thats my style. I've seen a lot of riding boots worn with sweater dresses and skinny jeans for cute looks. For $90 bucks, not too bad. (They do have a pair for even less at Wet Seal)
