Christina Milian: Mom & Daughter Shopping Style

Singer and Actress Christina Milian was spotted in Beverly Hills taking her daughter, Violet, shopping at Fred Segal. They spent some times together each trying on shoes (too cute). Christina kept it cute with a white cropped asymmetric style top, cuffed denim shorts, and red pumps. Her accessories appear to be by House of Harlow.

Fashion Spotlight: Jennifer Lopez's New Line with Kohl's

Jennifer Lopez is launching a new… and Affordable (our favorite) apparel, accessories, and home line with Kohls. It will be available in Kohl's stores and online at Kohls.com in September.

J Lo says she brought a lot of elements of her style … everything from urban style to an old Hollywood style. The line is definitely a representation of herself. If you are a fan of Jennifer and her style, this is a great way to her glamourous look for less. Most items are priced less than $100.

LaLa Vazquez in Diane von Furstenberg Dress & Christian Louboutin Pumps

LaLa Vazquez made an appearance on "FOX and Friends" in NYC earlier today. She wore a green leopard print Diane von Furstenberg 'Muriel' Sheath Dress ($345) and Christian Louboutin Daffodile Pumps. I think LaLa looks great, but not sure if I like the Louboutins with this look. They seem too chunky - perhaps something lower or an open-toe sandal would have worked better.

Splurge on LaLa's look or try some less expensive options below (plus other shoe options).

Tha Carter IV: Album Release Party Looks

Lots of people attended Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter IV" Album release party last night. The event was held in LA and in attendance was an interesting mixture of people such as Mario, Mike Posner, Keri Hilson, Shaunie O'Neal, and even some of the cast from Jersey Shore. Some looks that stood out were from the ladies above (Sammi Giancola, Ciara, Christina Milian and Nicki Minaj).

Fashion Rundown: 2011 MTV Video Music Awards

All of music's hottest music stars were in LA last night for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. Always one of the most anticipated award shows of the year, the show did not disappoint and was entertaining as usual. The show featured performances from stars such as Beyonce (who is expecting her first child with Jay-Z), Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Kayne West & Jay-Z, tributes to Britney Spears & the late singer Amy Winehouse and more.

In addition to the big show, a big topic of discussion was what everyone was wearing. Check out some red carpet and show looks:

Beyonce's Red Dress at the VMAs

Everyone is talking about the news of Beyonce being pregnant! She announced the news by showing off her baby bump at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. She looked beautiful and was glowing in a one shoulder red gown, and sparkled in diamonds and an emerald ring.

Jessica Alba debuted her post-baby body this past Friday in California. Jessica gave birth about 2 weeks ago to baby Haven and we've got to admit, she's getting those pounds off quickly! She wore a casual white maxi dress with a blue button-up top, and what appears to be wooden wedges. She accessorized with a cross-body bag.

Kourtney Kardashian Visits Vera Wang

Before her sister Kim got married last weekend, Kourtney Kardashian made a trip to the Vera Wang store with her family for a last minute dress fitting. Kourtney wore a neutral look with a pop of color: striped blazer, lime green pussybow blouse, white shorts, and nude Christian Louboutin cork heel sandals. She also carried a beige Balenciaga bag. 

You can splurge on Kourtney's look or try some more affordable options, like these almost identical Guess Women's Tunsa2 Platform Sandals ($90):

Ciara's Leather Look in NYC

Ciara was spotted leaving her New York hotel last week, and looked stylish in a two-pocket Equipment Classic Blouse ($174), Rag & Bone Skinny Leather Pants ($990), and Christian Louboutin Maggie Leopard-Toe Pumps ($1,095). She carried a Givenchy Large Padded Suede Antigona Duffle Bag ($2,480) and wore a gold watch and black aviator sunglasses. Love the hair as well!

Rihanna's Last day of Vacay Look

Rihanna tweeted yesterday that it was the last day of her European vacation. She spent some time checking out some high end boutiques in Sardinia, Italy before her departure. Rihanna wore a sparkling bandeau style top with wide leg pants. She accessorized with a body chain and white frame cat eye shades.

Requested Look: Lisa Raye's Sequin Finale Suit

I wanted to know about Lisa Raye's sequin 1 piece she wore on the season finale of "Single Ladies"

We did some research and unfortunately, we don't know the brand/designer of the jumpsuit, but check out the VH1 interview with stylist Okera Banks discussing the look:

"The black sequined catsuit and short sequined jacket are both specialty boutique items. I love that this look was a bit shocking and flashy. Again, Keisha is a bit of a chameleon when it comes to her many looks. She embraces her sensuality in every way and she is not afraid to be bold about expressing her flair through fashion. This catsuit was all about showing off Keisha's great body. I thought an elegant sequined jacket was the perfect balance to keep the look rich and chic. You can find a similar catsuit in BeBe or Arden B and you can find a similar jacket in any trendy store such as Wet Seal or H & M."

Even though we don't know her exact brand, as Banks stated in the interview for VH1 above, there are always options.

Get WHIT It or Get Lost? Adrienne Bailon's Colorful Style

Adrienne Bailon sported a variety of colors to the 2011 US Open - Rock The Set Concert. She wore mint green pants, a blue top, magenta bag, and black patent platforms. With that, she also accessorized with her BADACIOUS earrings. So the question is… should we Get WHIT It? Or should she Get Lost?

My thoughts (Whitney R) - I actually like the look. The colors work well together. I don't know that I would have worn those exact earrings (I like them but just not with this look). Possibly THESE from Badacious would have been a better... toned down choice.

Rihanna Enjoying Ice Cream in Style

While taking a stroll through Portofino, Italy, Rihanna was caught by camera enjoying some ice cream. She wore a sexy white cut out jumpsuit with heels and a tie dye bag. If you are loving Rihanna's look... she is wearing a jumpsuit by YSL, part of their Spring 2011 ready to wear collection. Most of their jumpsuits retail for about $1500 so we assume this is about the same.

OPI has released two new great nail polish collections! The final segment of Serena William's Glam Slam series has been released. Loving this combination of colors! The Glam Slam! US collection features a duo-pack with Love is a Racket (Shimmering Red) and Pros and Bronze (Glittering Bronze).

Out of the pair, Love is a Racket ROCKS. This color is currently on my (Whitney R) toes as we speak! If you want use them both, try applying the Pros and Bronze over top of the Love is a Racket!

Chris Brown & Swizz Beatz at Reebok Classics Party in Vegas

Chris Brown and Swizz Beatz appeared in Las Vegas at the Reebok Classics party, part of the Project trade show. Swizz, who was recently announced as the Creative Director of the Reebok Classics brand, performed that night as well as Chris Brown. Many Reebok sneakers from the past and present were featured at the party.

Swizz wore a Hawke & Dumar sleeveless shirt with gray jeans, red Reebok Ex-o-Fits-sneakers, and a red snapback hat. Chris Brown wore a custom Reebok denim vest over a gray tee, camo shorts and Reebok Kamikaze sneakers. Get both of the guys' looks below:

Angela & Vanessa Simmons Show Off Pastry Collection at MAGIC Convention

Angela & Vanessa Simmons showed off their latest Pastry shoes and clothing collection at the MAGIC clothing industry convention in Las Vegas. They showcased the collection at the Fashion Show Mall and had a pop-up booth at the tradeshow. Both ladies wore sneakers from their collection to the events - you can shop Pastry shoes on their official site. We all know Nicki Minaj is the hip hop version of Lady GaGa (maybe not AS out there). She's known for wearing vibrant colors, graphic print leggings and bodysuits. For her Good Morning America performance look, she wore leggings by Japanese designer Shojono Tomo. The leggings are called Heavy Metal Pierrot. Not sure of a price but check out the image below to see the design a little better:

Ray J's Vegas Nightclub Look

Singer Ray J performed Live At Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas over the weekend. For his Vegas club look, he wore a hooded sweatshirt with denim vest, dark jeans, Louis Vuitton belt, red sneakers and dark sunglasses. He also wore a beaded bracelet, which is still a popular accessory for the guys.

Newly married Kim Kardashian stepped out last week to run some errands in LA before getting married to Kris Humphries on Saturday. She was spotted wearing a form-fitting dress with a white blazer, Christian Louboutin buckle booties and carried a fringe clutch.

Rihanna's V Festival Style - Day 2

So it was Day 2 of the V Festival and Rihanna performed again wearing a similar style as her day 1 look. This time, her high waist shorts were embellished with chains and pearls. She paired them with a tie-up denim shirt, fish nets and pearls & chains for accessories. What does everyone think of the high waist style? Which performance look are you liking better? Designer Spotlight: Cristina Martinez of BowTiedOnline.com

Meet Cristina Martinez, self-taught designer from Houston, TX, now studying Fashion Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her site Bow Tied Online showcases her designs and snapshots from her life. In our interview with Cristina she shares her inspirations and gives insight to those interested in picking up a needle to create their own clothing designs.

What made you want to start designing?

I have been sketching clothing since as far back as I can remember. It wasn't until someone really close to me encouraged me to try to bring my sketches to life, that I decided to get a sewing machine and actually start sewing and creating these pieces I had had on paper for years. I will forever be thankful for that person.

What made you decide to further you education and go to school after being self-taught for years?

I started to get inquires about pieces that were out of my comfort zone as far as things I felt good about making. I always try to push myself and face any challenge that comes my way but being self - taught is tough. I want to gain all the knowledge I can and I think school is the best way to do that right now. I just finished my first semester at AAU and I have already learned so much.

How do you get inspiration for the prints you create?

When I am drawing my prints I usually just let my hand move naturally and see what it does. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. I usually keep a mental picture of things that inspired me throughout the day or week and then when I start sketching they all come to mind and I just draw.

They started out being $249 now they are $189, they have been out for a while so I'm thinking some designer has copied this style. I know you all are VERY good at finding things for less so I'm asking you to PLEASE find these leggings for me for less.
