One of the biggest award shows of the year went down last night, the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards. All eyes were on the celebrities and their interesting fashion choices. As usual, people like Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna seemed to have people talking the most. Let's take a look at the red carpet and show looks:

Lady Gaga, always putting on a show, arrived in a pod/egg and was "born" during her performance of her new song "Born This Way." Always expect the unexpected with Gaga.

Nicki Minaj was nominated and presented last night. She wore an all leopard print ensemble designed by Givenchy.

Rihanna had all eyes on her in this revealing gown by Jean-Paul Gaultier. Later she performed twice, once with Eminem and again for her own performance featuring Drake on her hit "What's My Name."

Jennifer Lopez shined in a metallic Emilio Pucci dress and Christian Louboutin pumps. Kim Kardashian sparkled in a glitzy gold Kaufman Franco dress.

The Smith family came to the show last night. Will, Jada and Willow all supported Jaden as he performed with Justin Bieber.

Justin, who had a few nominations, hit the red carpet in an all-white look. His mentor Usher wore an interesting look.

Jennifer Hudson, who has been looking great, opened up the Grammys with a tribute performace for Aretha Franklin. She performed with Florence Welch, Christina Aguilera, Martina McBride and Yolanda Adams.

A few backstage and audience moments captured: Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow (wearing Christian Louboutin Futura Nappa booties; get them in brown here) and Willow Smith with Lady Gaga.

The Young Money family made their appearance last night. Lil Wayne, Nicki and Tyga posed for the cameras, while Drake brought his mom with him.

Katy Perry hit the red carpet with wings and later performed. Bruno Mars also performed and won his first Grammy.

Melanie Fiona and Janelle Monae enjoyed the award show. Janelle put on an entertaining performance.

Ciara showed a lot of leg in an Emilio Pucci dress, and Keri Hilson looked lovely in a blue mini dress and gold sandals. She may have played it safe in terms of all the other daring looks on the red carpet, but Keri had one of my favorite looks.

Young stars Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus were also at the show.

Monica looked nice in a black gown and Mya wore a strapless mermaid gown.

Here are a few performance looks: Cee Lo Green with Gwyneth Paltrow and Usher with Justin Bieber.

Another performance look: Eminem (who performed with Rihanna, Dr. Dre and Skylar Grey) and B.o.B. (who performed with Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae).

So did you enjoy the show last night? What were some of your favorite looks?
